Preparation:
- First of all, get in touch with your physician or obstetrician.
- Registering at Homecare Maternity
Center is possible by phone or our digital registration form. Also inform your health insurance company about your registration.
- House call/Initial interview: around the seventh month of your pregnancy, our maternity nurse will call
you to make an appointment for a house call (if you're expecting your first child) or initial interview. During this house call she
will answer all your questions about the pregnancy, birth and the period of maternity.
If this will beyour second, third or later baby there will be an initial interview by phone during which you'll receive information
and be able to ask questions. If wanted it is possible to make an appointment
for a house call.
- To prepare well for the delivery it is recommendable to participate in courses such as pregnancy
gymnastics, yoga, swimming and/or breastfeeding.
- Look here to see what purchases you need to do for
the baby and for the mother.
- Home care kit: if you have a health insurance covering additional care, you are
entitled to receive a so-called 'kraampakket' (home care kit). You may consult
with your health insurance company concerning how to receive this.
